Superior Work Ethic For When 'Tough' Doesn't Cut It

Most of the time, a half-ton pickup can overcome the majority of the obstacles our Windsor, CO, Longmont, CO, and Loveland, CO customers regularly need them to. But when your work ethic, job, or a mix of both calls for a truck that can tow and haul more, one might say you've been consigned to Super Duty. In the world of the 2018 Ford F-250, however, the sheer might of this truck combined with its upscale amenities for work and play, that's a good thing.

Engines & Cab Sizes

The F-250 is available in regular, SuperCab, and Crew Cab, and 6.75 foot and 8-foot beds, and a variety of combinations of each. You also can select between five different wheel base lengths, ranging from 146 to 176 inches, and a standard, all-new TorqShift-G 6-speed automatic with SelectShift transmission with unique tunings for both available gas and diesel engine options.

  • 6.2-liter 2-Valve Gas V8 engine with 385 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque.
  • 6.7-liter 4-Valve PowerStroke Diesel V8 with 450 horsepower and 935 lb-ft of torque.

The F-250's engines offer best-in-class power to compliment their equally-benchmark capabilities. For example, the torque ratings of both 6.2-liter and 6.7-liter engines lead their competitive sets. An F-250 equipped with PowerStroke Diesel, however, get the lion's share of the capability pie, with 21,000 lbs. best-in-class max conventional towing, and 7,630 lbs. max payload.

The F-250 comes in six models, with the features of each building on those of the last. Each model comes with a unique grille design, and a number of additional packaged bundles. These include options for adaptive steering and heavy-duty suspension, CNG/propane prep, unique styling, and more.

  • XL. The accessibly-priced base trim comes standard with the 6.2-liter gasoline V8, AdvancTrac Roll Stability Control, Quad-Dual Beam halogen headlamps with high-output beams, and the available STX Appearance package.
  • XLT. One step up from the base gets the XL's features, and the SYNC Basic infotainment package with Bluetooth audio, 911 Assist, voice functionality, and smart phone integration.  The Power Equipment package adds electrical functionality, ranging from heated mirrors to door and tailgate locks.
  • Lariat. Along with premium, leather trimmed seats, Lariat models get SYNC3 functionality with navigation and smartphone integration, 20-inch chrome wheels, and all the previous two trim's features. Also present is an 8-inch digital productivity screen in the instrument cluster.
  • King Ranch. Luxurious amenities ranging from voice-activated SYNC3 with navigation functions to exclusive "King Ranch" Mesa leather seating surfaces dial up comfort on the home front. Power-folding and heated PowerScope side mirrors with LED spotlights for security and approach, and lockable under-seat storage are also standard.
  • Platinum. As befitting its name, the second-from-the-top trim comes with multi-contour leather seating in the interior, as well as power retractable running boards. Adaptive Steering and a Blind Spot Monitoring System (BLIS) with cross traffic functions are on the menu, too.
  • Limited. The range-topping F-250 model comes standard with 180 and 360 degree trailer/tow camera systems, adaptive cruise control and collision warning, and two-tone Camelback leather seats. Beneath a two-tone panoramic moon roof, you can enjoy work and play in equal measure.
